The dumbest AI mistake I see B2B CEOs make

It's not 'using ChatGPT wrong.' It's treating AI like a fancy spell-checker instead of infrastructure.

Every B2B CEO I talk to has tried ChatGPT. Most have a paid account. A few have rolled out Copilot to the team.

Almost none of them are actually using AI.

The mistake

They treat it like a fancy Google. Open a tab, type a question, copy the answer, close the tab.

That's not AI in your business. That's AI in your browser. There's a difference.

What "AI in your business" looks like

It runs while you sleep. It cleans your CRM at 3am. It generates the weekly report before your Monday meeting. It scores leads before your AE even sees them.

It's boring. It's small. It earns its keep every day or it gets thrown out.

The shift

The operators eating their competitors' lunch right now are the ones who stopped opening ChatGPT and started building tiny workflows that just run.

You don't need a dev team. You don't need a $200K AI strategy. You need to pick one boring process, automate it this week, and let it pay for itself.

Then do it again next week.

That's the whole game.
