At Shape Your Brand LLC, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it — in plain language, no legal jargon.

This policy applies to all websites and products operated by Shape Your Brand LLC, including our venture products (SnapSello, RenderBeam, PingKeep, Approvero, WebsiteAccessibility.io) and the ShapeYourBrand platform.

1. What We Collect

Information you give us:

  • Name and email address when you create an account or take the AI Score quiz
  • Company name, role, and website (optional, for the AI Score)
  • Phone number (only if you provide it for support or SMS opt-in)
  • Payment information when you make a purchase — processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number
  • Any messages you send us via email or contact forms

Information we collect automatically:

  • Pages you visit, features you use, and how long you stay
  • Your IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Referring website (how you found us)
  • Advertising and analytics identifiers, including ad click IDs (such as fbclid from Meta and gclid from Google), Meta Pixel events, and Google Analytics identifiers
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see our Cookie Policy)

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve our services (tools, scores, platforms)
  • Send you results from the AI Revenue Score
  • Process payments and deliver purchased content
  • Send important account-related emails (password resets, billing, receipts)
  • Understand how people use our products so we can make them better
  • Measure and optimize our advertising — including reporting conversions back to platforms like Meta and Google so we don't waste budget on the wrong audience
  • Respond to your questions and support requests
  • Detect fraud, prevent abuse, and comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.

3. Who We Share Data With

We only share your data with trusted service providers that help us run our business:

  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
  • Supabase — database hosting and authentication.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) — Meta Pixel and Conversions API for ad measurement and audience matching. Hashed identifiers (such as email and phone number) may be sent for conversion attribution. See Meta Privacy Policy.
  • Google — Google Analytics and Google Ads for traffic analysis and conversion tracking. See Google Privacy Policy.
  • Email service providers — to send transactional and account emails.

These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and only use it for the purposes we specify.

We may also share information if required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

4. Advertising & Tracking Technologies

We run paid advertising (mainly on Meta and Google) and use standard advertising tools to measure whether those ads work:

  • Meta Pixel & Conversions API — tracks page views, sign-ups, and purchases so Meta can attribute conversions and help us reach similar audiences (custom audiences and lookalike audiences).
  • Google Analytics & Google Ads conversion tracking — measures campaign performance and on-site behavior.
  • Server-side hashing — when we send conversion events, identifiers like email and phone are hashed (SHA-256) before transmission where supported.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, run analytics, and measure advertising. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required by law to keep it (e.g., financial or tax records, typically up to 7 years).

Anonymous, aggregated data (like "500 users visited the AI Score page this month") may be retained indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct — ask us to fix any inaccurate information
  • Delete — ask us to delete your personal data
  • Export — receive your data in a portable format
  • Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, or text STOP to any SMS we send

8. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you're a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
  • Right to delete personal information we have collected from you
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • Right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of advertising tools like the Meta Pixel and Google Ads may be considered "sharing" under California law. To opt out, email legal@shapeyourbrand.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser.

9. GDPR / UK GDPR

If you're in the EU, EEA, or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation gives you specific rights. Shape Your Brand LLC is the data controller for personal data collected through our sites.

Legal bases we rely on:

  • Consent — for marketing emails, advertising cookies, and SMS communications
  • Contract — to deliver the products and services you've signed up for
  • Legitimate interest — for security, fraud prevention, and basic analytics
  • Legal obligation — for tax, accounting, and compliance

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We have not appointed an EU representative under Article 27 GDPR as we qualify for the small-business exemption. EU/UK requests can be sent to legal@shapeyourbrand.com.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are not designed for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we'll delete it promptly.

11. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure — we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. International Users

Shape Your Brand LLC is based in Florida, USA. If you're accessing our services from outside the US, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using our services, you consent to this transfer.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For major changes, we'll notify you by email or a prominent notice on our site.
